Are you Ready for the Jill Show?

Taking a break from our regular Finishing School classes is giving me some time to try something new. For the next three weeks on Thursdays at 5:30 PM CST, I'm excited to announce the premiere of our half-hour program – Take a Pause: COVID Self-Care Series! I'll interview special guests to discuss easy ways to take care of ourselves and reduce stress during COVID.

We're under a lot of stress right now. On top of everything, school is starting, and the election is ramping up. It's taking the tension over the top for many people. Whether we want to admit it or not, we're traumatized. When in this state, our self-care goes out of the window. I've noticed this more lately in myself and my business consulting clients. We're so stressed out; it's a wonder we aren't levitating!

People aren't taking time for our regular vacations and time off to have fun. Our natural fight, flight, freeze responses come out at times like this when we don't feel safe. People are either being too productive, working themselves into burnout. Or are unproductively stupefied, unable to get the most straightforward things done. Or we're fleeing reality by immersing ourselves in media. Sometimes all three on the same day.

I don't know about you, but I've been terrible about taking care of myself lately. I haven't been eating right, getting enough sleep, and sometimes lack the motivation to do the simplest things. This can't go on. So, if you haven't noticed this about me yet when something bothers me, I look around for what I can do about it and offer to bring you with me.

I've also been thinking about the new exclusive webinars I'll start offering in September for our Queen and Goddess members. Maybe it was a lack of sleep, but the two ideas collided in my head sometime during the night, and the answer hit me. "Get practice for the new webinars, give everyone a sample of this new perk, and work on self-care at the same time!" Triple win!

I'm excited! It may feel like it sometimes, but you're not alone, and we can get help. I have excellent experts in various areas of self-care that I'll interview. We'll get insights about what's going on, and most importantly, we'll get real-life strategies and tips for quick and easy ways to better take care of ourselves.

We'll celebrate each new episode with a premiere event when the program goes live. I'm including the link to each episode below so you can join us. The link will go to our YouTube Channel, where anyone in the world can watch for free. So you don't miss the premiere, you can register for this event at no charge, and I'll send you an email reminder the day before and the link to join us an hour before we go live.

If something happens and you can't make, no worries! These shows will be recorded and stored at the same link, so you can watch when you have a half-hour for yourself. If you love the program, you'll be able to easily share the link with your friends and on social media.
