I can't believe it's been three years since our last regular Finishing School for Modern Women class! Well, class is back in session!
During COVID, we offered some online classes, and in the aftermath, we enjoy doing mini-workshops through the Badass Women of Wichita Alliance. While these mini-workshops are fun, they haven't quite been the right environment to be able to dig deep to focus on bigger issues. Besides, not everyone wants to attend classes in a brewery!
Our Modern Women classes and Badass Women workshops will be in a new location! The Wichita Foundation has just opened Elevate Community Lab meeting room across from their office in the newly remodeled Broadway Autopark at 303 S. Broadway.
We'll continue to have our Badass Women of Wichita panel discussions at Flying Pig Improv and special events at Tor Brewing.
I'm so excited to bring back a couple of classes this quarter that I've been longing to bring to our community and a new one that is truly badass.
Picking up the Pieces: Transitioning Trauma class on July 31st with Janet Federico is one of my all-time favorites and has made a huge difference in my life as I heal from trauma.
Own Your Power on August 16th is one of our Modern Women Core classes. In this essential class, we discover how to be free of self-doubt, let go of criticism and praise, and look at what holds us back from living our best life.
The Speak with Power class on September 7th is a new one. We apologize too much and hold ourselves back more than we can imagine in how we communicate through verbal, written, and body language. In this class, we'll discuss simple changes that will instantly increase credibility.
These classes don't have a sponsor to allow us to offer the same pricing we can with Badass Women of Wichita Alliance events. Tickets to individual classes are $40.
