Ready For Your Close-up with Co-teacher Christine Moser - A Finishing School for Modern Women class

This event is open to the public. The registration fee is $40 at the door or in advance and $35 for Badass Women Members

We’re meeting at Elevate Community Lab in Broadway Autopark, 303 S. Broadway, from 6 to 8:30 PM.

Program:

Do you hide from the camera because you don’t like to see pictures of yourself? You can be present in your life and in the pictures taken at friend and family gatherings by determining how to position yourself at just the right angle. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover which poses and expressions work best for you, photo makeup advice, how to find your light, and other tips for fab photos without filters or editing.

Finishing School for Modern Women is not your grandmother’s etiquette school. We offer women's empowerment classes to help women grow their authentic selves. The Finishing School for Modern Women brings together women of all ages to learn from each other how to claim our power in business, finance, communication, and life. Not because we need finishing but because we're never finished.

About the Speakers:

Christine Moser

Christine Moser is a photographer and artist based in Wichita, Kansas. Christine has been drawn to photography from a young age, a passion nurtured and shared by her father. She loves to tell a story, to capture a moment in time. She enjoys portrait work and art photography. When not creating photographs, she is a voracious reader and enjoys her work as a Volunteer Coordinator for Wichita Habitat for Humanity. Christine loves meeting new people and getting to know their stories and passions. Her favorite color is green, and she enjoys spending time with her family.

Jill D. Miller is passionate about helping people grow – professionally and personally. Award-winning book author, business development consultant, corporate trainer, Headmistress of the Finishing School for Modern Women, Wichita State University adjunct professor, Board Member of Camp Innovation Destination, Inc., and Wichita Professional Communicators, zealous volunteer, cultural event enthusiast, rescue poodle-owner, social butterfly.
