About the event
Have you talked with your parents about what they want to do if they can't live independently? The National Hospice Foundation has found that 75 percent of Americans don't make their end-of-life decisions known to their families through either verbal or written communication. Talking about aging issues can be challenging, with many emotions to consider – yours and your parents. It's essential to plan for aging before there's a crisis.
In this workshop, you'll better understand your parents’ perspective, learn how to initiate these conversations, receive examples of questions to approach various topics to create a plan, and tips to avoid caregiver burnout.
