Program: Ever since Wichita was a Cowtown in the 1870s, there have been many women of consequence, often behind the scenes, who have helped build our city, known as the “Peerless Princess of the Plains.” Join the Badass Women of Wichita to celebrate women who have shaped our past and who are making an impact today at our Badass Scavenger hunt! Solve clues and find locations to discover how these women have helped make Wichita a place we are proud to call home.

Here’s how it works:   Register in advance at  to make sure you get a spot. $15 a person or $10 for members. You can also register at the door as space allows. Come with a team of 4 or fewer, or join with others to form a team that day. Men are welcome, too.  Check in at 11:30 AM to get your Hunt sheet, gather your team to solve clues, and plot your driving route to prepare to set out for your adventure at noon.  All clue destinations are less than 5 miles from downtown Wichita.   Be sure someone on your team has a phone capable of taking photos and emailing them or uploading to Facebook. We’ll gather back at home base no later than 2 PM to tally the points, award prizes, and celebrate the winners! Cash bar and food are available to order.
