About the event
Due to rainy, soggy conditions, we are rescheduling this event for next Saturday, November 1st. If you are registered for this event and can't make it, please email me at jill@FinishingSchoolForModernWomen.com to discuss your options. Because some people have not been able to reschedule, we have a few spots that have opened up for the tour.
Join the Badass Women of Wichita Alliance for a historic tour of Highland Cemetery, Kansas’s oldest cemetery. Cemetery historian Barb Myers will take us on a tour of this hidden historical gem, founded in the 1870s, which serves as the final resting place for many of Wichita’s pioneers and founders.
We’ll meet at Highland Cemetery, 1005 N. Hillside, at noon. The tour lasts approximately two hours.
This event is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Wichita Pioneers (at Highland Cemetery) that goes toward the upkeep and restoration of this important part of Wichita history.…
